WWE & Roman Reigns

Roman Reign’s time in WWE has been nothing less than successful.

He is this generations “The Rock” or whoever you want to compare him to. He is the face of WWE. He is where every wrestler wishes to be. He’s the big dog and he’s gonna stay that way for a long, long time.

The shield

Before his reign of terror. He was in The Shield. The minute I saw him I knew he was gonna be a star. It was just the way he looked and carried himself, that made him stand out from Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose. Of course, I will never take away credit from what Seth and Dean (Jon Moxley) has accomplished in their respective careers.

The shield disbanded and Roman Reign was on his own. He quick went up the ranks and became a main event superstar. That came at a cost.

The WWE universe quickly “blacklisted” him and were very vocal on their distaste for him. Everywhere he went he just got boo’ed and thumbed down.

Fast forward to today, he is still the face of the company. He’s still the top dog. He’s still winning championships or retaining them.

WWE has made Roman Reigns almost unbeatable and that’s where the problem lies now. They made him TOO dominate.

Wrestlemania Win

After his Wrestlemania battle with Brock Lesnar. He is now both Universal and WWE Champion. Which I knew would happen. They weren’t gonna take away the momentum he has.

The question is…

Who will beat Roman Reigns?

That’s the question on everyones mind. Can anyone beat him? Can anyone else be Universal Champion?

I don’t think that will happen for a long time and it’s going to hurt WWE in the long run. Sure, Roman right now is the hottest thing in the market. But too much of it is just as bad as nothing having anything at all.

WWE has backed themselves up in corner with that situation.

What if someone beats Roman and takes his belts? Will Roman lose all his momentum and struggle to gain it back? I’d he will gain his momentum too fast and we will be back to square one.

I’m not hating on Roman Reigns. I think the guy has proven to be quite the showman and he can carry a company on his shoulders. He’s a great champion and an even better real-life person.

I just hope they don’t come up with some bullshit plan that will ruin everything he has worked for and everything WWE has built him up to be.
