WWE Is Wasting Talent

Many have come and many have gone.

There’s been dozens and dozens of talented wrestlers who have walked through the curtains to an arena packed with crazed fans. They go out there and give it their all whether they are the opening match or the third match.

As talented as they are, they never seemed to cross to the masses. One minute we see them and the next they are gone. They’ve been released or asked for their release.

The simple question then lingers on our minds…”Where did they go?”.

This is one of the major problems with WWE right now.

Not the fact that they release wrestlers out of nowhere. But the fact that they seem to never give a chance to the mid-card wrestlers.

They just don’t notice the big pot of gold before them.

It’s extremely sad how right now there’s more than a handful of wrestlers in the company that have so much potential. They’re hungry. They’re young. They have the skills sets. Yet, WWE never gives them the opportunity to showcase their talent.

They just give them random matches with no storyline or even worse they basically become jobbers for the top talent.

I’ve seen many of these mid-carders leave WWE and go to another promotion where they actually become somebody.

Sure, there are some exceptions in this matter.

Dolph Ziggler

Dolph Ziggler is a prime example. When he started out, he looked just like any mid-card wrestler. He slowly climbed the ladder (literally) and before you knew it he was world champion.

Although his title reign was cut short due to him being injured. It was nice seeing someone from left field getting the chance to shine.

He came back from his injury and well…that was it for him. He never went back to main event status. Now, he’s just in a lower mid-card tag team with Robert Roode.

Liv Morgan

Liv Morgan is possibly the best example right now. She’s struggling. Everyone from inside WWE to the fans know that she deserves the chance to get to Charlotte Flair’s level, but they’re always holding her back.

Liv is one of the most talent women wrestlers right now. She goes out there and give her blood, sweat, and tears for us. I don’t know why or how she hasn’t broken out yet.

The same top women wrestlers say that Liv Morgan deserves the Women’s Championship.

Liv Morgan…YOU DESERVE BETTER.

If they were to let’s say “branch out” and have “mid-carders” have their time in the spotlight. They could easily see who can handle it and who can’t. We all know not all of the wrestlers can be in the spotlight, I get that.

But I do think that would make the product more entertaining. We’ll be seeing new segments and new faces.

I guess I’m in the minority that I’m just a bit fatigued with seeing only the big stars get all the attention. Sure, they get the spotlight because they are good at their jobs and it’s what brings in the money.

I just wanna see some of the background men and women get their chance.
