Roman Reign’s Ain’t Losing Soon
Not until 2025
By now we’re all aware of who Roman Reign’s is. He’s reign in WWE is historic at this point. Quite Frantically he has nothing left to prove in his career. He has carried the company on his back for years now.
His championship reign has also made him into a martyr.
Every single time he put his belt up for grabs, he somehow ends on top, with the help of The Bloodline of course. There’s times where it isn’t even worth watching his title defenses because you already know the outcome.
At this point, all signs lead to Roman breaking Hulk Hogan’s all-time championship reign of 1474 days.
The Tribal Chief won the Universal Championship back in Payback 2020 and the WWE Championship at Wrestlemania 38. Who knew that we were in for a hell of a ride of the title never leaving sight.
Let’s take a look at why he won’t lose till years to come.
Roman Is Money
This is the most obvious answer. Roman’s merch sells like there’s no tomorrow. So much so, that he actually overpassed John Cena is merch sells.
He’s a top-seller in WWE and that screams money for them. If the money continues to pour in, and they’re happy, Roman has a reason to stay as top-dog.
WWE will continue to promote him as an attraction. Because we don’t really see much of Roman on Raw or Smackdown, so if he’s in the card for the night, you best believe tickets will sell.
Tag Team Goals
With the recent lackluster performances by The Uso’s, Roman has sought out to do their jobs and end Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn’s Tag Team Championship reign with Solo Sikoa.
This will happen at Crown Jewel and it will be Roman’s second time being at the Premium Live Event and not put his own championship on the line.
This could potentially become a habit for Roman as a way for him to be “too” busy to defend the Universal Championship. He will be in a lengthy tag team storylines for months to come.
Even more so, with how the storyline is going, we’re getting subtle hints that The Bloodline will soon break up with The Uso’s choosing their own paths.
Sure, even IF Roman was to win the Tag Team Championship, there’s no possible way he can’t defend his world title. There’s gonna be one or two defenses, but less frequent than now.
Roman Reigns Vs The Rock — Wrestlemania 40
It’s a long stretch of a match, but it’s been hyped up for a long time. It will be family vs family. Who would be the REAL Tribal Chief?
This was suppose to happen this year since Wrestlemania was in Los Angeles, but the failed to put it together due to The Rock’s busy Hollywood schedule. But, the door is always open for The Rock to come back.
This would mean The Rock would have to seriously take some time off from Hollywood and commit for a few months to WWE if this was to happen, that being if he really does still love the WWE.
The Rock is bound to put over his cousin in the match.
By the time WrestleMania 40 rolls out, Roman Reigns will complete 1300+ days as Universal Champion. He will be much closer to Hulk Hogan’s title record, and WWE shall most likely be interested in rewriting history at that time.
So, it would mostly just be a waste of time really.
Conclusion
As much as we would want Roman to drop the belt to someone and as much as we may get bored of seeing him win match after match, there’s no denying that Roman is our John Cena, The Rock, Stone Cold.
He’s the top guy and he will remain on top for as long as he can.
Whether he chooses a new career path in the later years or retires altogether, he will leave a hell of a legacy behind.
Maybe he will lose sooner than 2025.
