NXT Better Than The Main Brands?

Lately, as we all know, Smackdown and Raw have been on a rollercoaster of a ride with ratings. Sometimes it’s a fabulous episode and often more than once both shows are just bland and terrible.

Raw and Smackdown has the tendency to bring hope to us fans by providing some sort of hope that one segment of the night will transfix the entire show the following week and onwards.

They fail to do that.

NXT on the other hand has been on a roll lately ever since the re-branding.

They’ve signed new superstars and have been giving them quite the push. I’m actually really intrigued in the new signings as they have been just completely giving it their all.

I’m loving this whole “Old School Vs New School” feel that NXT is doing.

NXT in my opinion has been giving us a bit of “Attitude” that the main roster seems to lack. Of course, there’s a number of superstars that have that “Atittude” in the main roster.

Not to mention, NXT is just two-hours long. They have to quickly get the point out to us on why this happened or why it’s happening. While on Raw, they have three-hours to spare and well…a lot of the segments just drag on.

Now, is NXT better than Raw and Smackdown?

I honestly would say yes.

The direction they’re going in is super entertaining. They don’t need the theatrics to gain out attention. All they need and do is give us promos that catch our attention and gives us something to react.

The NXT superstar’s promos are on point. Full of conviction. I could feel their angst, their willing to survive, their eagerness to be on top.

Also, to me it seems like the NXT “Old School” wrestlers understand the real term of what “Getting people over” means.

Tomasso Ciampa doesn’t have a problem with trying to get Bron Breakker over. Seems like he welcomes the new blood and would consider dropping his NXT Championship to him.

Bron Breakker is new and already making a name for himself. There’s no doubt he will be champion soon.

Toxic Attraction are a milestone.

They are extremely arrogant. They are one of the best heel factions in a long time. They know how to push buttons and what to say to get us to react to them.

Sure, Mandy Rose was on Raw and Smackdown, but ever since coming back to NXT her starlight has grown enormously.

Kyle O’Reily seemingly looks like he’s going to pass the torch to Von Wagner. Who I could see getting a major push, due to the fact that Vince loves big men.

NXT shows what Shawn Michaels and Triple H could do with a brand. They clearly have their handprints all over the products.

Imagine what they could do if they were to take on the mantle of running Raw and Smackdown.
