Yeah!…Yeah!…Yeah!

L.A Knight is upon one of the most charismatic wrestlers today. His mic skills are second to none. even at 40 years old, the man has a bright future in WWE. He knows how and when to work the crowd. His in-ring abilities may be not the most notable thing, he does deliver exciting matches when given the opportunity.

He joined NXT in 2021 and immediately jumped to the main roster in a span of a year. Which was exciting to see. Although there’s one thing about his main brand debut…he’s been lost in the shuffle and it’s incredible to see how WWE heads haven’t found something concrete for him.

Let’s see why he’s the future of WWE and why WWE doesn’t do anything about it…yeah!

Mic Skills

In WWE you’re either good at one thing or in both things. You have to be able to cut a hard-driven promo weekly whether you’re a babyface or a heel. It’s one or really the only to connect to the crowd.

It has to feel like it’s from the heart.

L.A Knight is extremely talented in this area. He can be outspoken countless times and finds his way back to making his point. He knows his cues and knows how to stir the pot.

When he comes out on Smackdown and is about to deliver a promo, we know that we’re gonna get electricity in the arena. He commands the crowds attention and the viewers at home.

Age?

Obviously age can play a big role in being the top dog in WWE. Most of the times the top talent is in their late 20’s and early 30’s, with the exception of a new wrestlers who have been in the company for decades.

L.A Knight is 40 years old right now, which means he could be a liability for the company.

Then again Diamond Dallas Page was 40 when he won his first World Championship. So, there’s no excuse there. WWE need to give him a shot one day. Time is ticking and L.A Knight could very well be more disappointed with his run as the weeks go on.

Intercontinental Championship or U.S Championship

L.A Knight might become WWE Champion, but there’s still a lot of championships he can win.

The IC title and U.S title are a perfect fit for him as well.

L.A would be a fantastic IC champion. A match between him and Gunther would steal the show and we could be sure that he GLOAT in his victory day in and day out.

Upper Midcard Success

In the history of WWE, not all superstars have been able to gain the fame of the likes of Triple H, Big Show, The Rock, Roman Reigns, etc. Some have been quite the impressive upper-card wrestlers.

These are the ones who don’t really challenge for championships, they keep the shows going, but they get a nice storyline along the way and are able to gain some momentum within the company and fans.

Big Show is a prime example of an upper mid-card wrestler who went almost a decade without holding a belt but was still a main part of the show.

Right now, the upper mid-card wrestlers are a bit stacked, but there’s room for L.A Knight, if you don’t consider him one already.

Potential Limelight

For all we know, WWE could easily be testing him. Why you may ask? This is something they always do for good reason.

Just because one superstar is over with the crowd, doesn’t mean that he or she is ready for the big spot. It takes time and energy to get to the top.

As over as L.A Knight might be with the fans and even backstage. They’re waiting for the perfect moment to give him the chance to challenge for something.

How long might this test take?

That would depend on the heads of the company sadly. It could months, years, or never.

Money In The Bank

Winning the Money In The Bank briefcase can change a wrestlers career. They have a whole year to cash it in for a championship at any moment.

We’ve been stars like Edge, CM Punk, and Rob Van Dam cash in the briefcase and win the WWE Championship and their careers skyrocketed from there.

In some cases, some have cashed it in and failed to get the championships, which seems to be the trend now.

L.A Knight winning the briefcase could be a career highlight for him. WWE could be finally giving him the chance to shine and show that he’s capable of leading WWE to the next chapter.
