Austin Theory The Next Big Thing?

As per usual WWE introduces us to numerous of new superstars. Some we can see climbing the ladder of the main roster and actually getting a chance to showcase themselves.

While other times…they just get lost in the scramble of the main roster.

I remember the first time seeing Roman Reigns and I thought to myself that he was going to be the next big thing.

Now, look at him, he’s practically the poster child for the company.

That’s the same way I’m viewing Austin Theory.

For some reason I just see him becoming champion. Whether it’d be WWE Champion, Universal Champion, or Intercontinental Champion, he’s going to hold some title sooner than later.

I love his cocky attitude. He knows he’s good and he shows it off. He has the right motivation to go through the talent.

Lately, he’s been getting a major push. It’s showing.

He’s clearly on Vince McMahon’s good side. Even getting a shot at the WWE Championship just weeks after entering Raw. It’s almost uncommon for a rookie to gain that much momentum.

I think he’s here to stay for a while. Although his gimmick is a bit…weird to me. You know, a wrestler who loves to take selfies with his opponents before and after the match.

It’s a gimmick that is going to get old fast.

I’m just hopeful that he has a creative mind and will allow for his character to grow alongside his career.

Watching Austin go from NXT and “The Way” faction to now being a single competitor is like watching a child star grow up on TV.

He will not disappoint us.
