AEW’s Problems
Once promising, now in turmoil
AEW took the world by storm when it debuted with Chris Jericho leading the pack. It was something fresh, they were giving us the wrestling fans what we wanted and to be honest that was the blood and violence. Their rise to fame seemed to be almost too good to be true.
As the years went by, we started to see a shift in the company. They were repeating the same mistakes as other promotions(WCW). We started to see AEW just hire any wrestler that came from WWE, as if that was suppose to ignite a bigger flame.
This is where the problems started. The company became way too saturated with ex-WWE wrestlers and Tony Khan just didn’t or still doesn’t know how to juggle a roster like his.
Now we’re at the point where AEW’s seems to be at an all time low and it’s sad to me. I love wrestling in general, I will watch any promotion that puts on a good show. The attendance for AEW is just an outrage, they’re barely selling out arenas like they used to.
Let’s take a look at some of the problems that’s clouding AEW’s future.
